In 2012, Russian model Kira Dikhtyar did an interview with Fox News stating what techniques models would use to starve themselves by using laxatives, Phentermine diet pills, and prescription drugs that suppress their appetites. She even noted that some of the agencies would encourage the models to do cocaine to speed up their metabolism. Naomi Campbell stated years ago that she had gotten addicted to illegal drugs.
